Johanne brings a wealth and variety of skills and experience to the MHI Team. She has a great deal of experience in the development and implementation of Business Planning System Processes and Performance and Risk Management. She also has significant experience in providing strategic management advice as well as project management and integrated management guidance. She has produced integrated human resource plan and business plan in collaboration with the HR business Manager in large organisational settings and has provided detailed analysis regarding administration practices and expenditure patterns
What is unique about Johanne’s experience is that she also bring a great deal of tangible experience regarding workplace mental health programs and practices in large organisational settings. She single headedly implemented several peer support program positions in various geographical locations and subsequently delivered peer support services herself for many years. She understands the importance of stakeholder relations in this new and promising mental health service and is very adroit in delivering strong results
Prior to all this Johanne served in the Canadian Military for 24 years and retired in 2003.
She is qualified has a Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Program (NLP) (psychotherapist), has Suicide Intervention Training and is a trained Peer Supporter. In 2008 she received the public service Award from “The Tema Conter Memorial Trust” for helping those who spend their lives helping others.
