Taryn Tang is a mental health entrepreneur, educator, researcher, and family caregiver. She is co-founder of Two Wheels Training, a company that teaches caregivers and health care professionals how to apply practical caregiving strategies to improve the quality of life for people living with mental health challenges.
Taryn is an academically trained researcher who spent over 15 years leading and implementing research and evaluation programs in university, hospital, and community settings at the University of Toronto, the Graduate Center at the City University of New York, the Centre for Addiction & Mental Health, and the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario.
She has taught, given numerous presentations, delivered workshops, received grant support, and published on diverse topics in mental health. Taryn holds a PhD in Applied Psychology from the University of Toronto and is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto.
